The Law of Harmony

The law of harmony states that everything in this universe strives to reach the supreme potential for balance – the ultimate state of consciousness, Presence. Harmony is at the core of all religious and spiritual teachings and is also referred to as equanimity or avirodha (absence of opposition in Sanskrit). It is a perfect balance and the state of bliss, free from pain and suffering. At the “human” level, harmony can be viewed as a state of mind and emotional state; it is peace and non-reactivity, both internally and externally – within the self and in relations to the outside world, whether with other humans or nature.

Harmony is our ability to “reason our way out” of difficult life situations (the mental aspect) and eliminate reactivity by healing negative emotions and developing the ability to self-regulate.

One way to look at the Law of Harmony is the idea that while the Universe seems chaotic and unpredictable on the surface, at a deeper level, perfect harmony is at play at all times. Life IS always balanced and harmony – maintained, even in the times of seeming disharmony. For example, think of how nature and ecosystems react to one even simple change. Consider how nature reacts – global warming, for example – to restore the “harmony”. So seemingly disastrous times can be viewed as nature’s pushback to restore harmony. (This implies paradox, of course, and is different and a long discussion.)

As with all other laws, the Law of Harmony operates in conjunction with and is influenced by other laws such as the Law of Cause and Effect, the Law of Rhythm, the Law of Polarity, and others.

In the future videos, I will teach you how to impact any particular law to change your reality or manifest your dreams.
